Microsoft shareholders are demanding an inquiry

To investigate Bill Gates’ alleged misconduct.  The company’s policy on sexual harassment. Investors want more information on policies that, according to them, allowed Bill Gates’ alleged misconduct.

 Arjuna has also demanded the publication of “any independent inquiry into allegations of executive-level, including the recent Gates’ allegations.”

 In its proxy materials Microsoft asked shareholders to oppose the resolution, explaining that the resolution could duplicate measures already in place.

 Microsoft will issue an annual report detailing its policies on gender discrimination and sexual harassment It said.

 The company stated that “This reporting will substantially address some of the issues highlighted in the shareholder proposal.” “Microsoft does not condone discrimination, harassment or harassment.”
