Microsoft investors seek investigation

 The text of that proposed resolution is: “Reports of Bill Gates”inappropriate relationships” and sexual advances towards Microsoft employees only intensified fears, and raised questions about the culture cultivated by the top executives, as well as the role of the board to hold the accountable accountable.”

 The report said: “Investors are worried that Microsoft might be suffering from an environment of sexual harassment that could put at risk the company’s ability to attract talent.”

 Arjuna also demanded the release of an independent investigation into allegations at an executive level, including Gates Recent allegations.

 In the proxy materials for shareholders, Microsoft advised shareholders to reject the resolution, stating that it could duplicate the existing measures.

 Microsoft plans to release an annual report to the public on its discrimination against women and gender policies, the company said.

 “This report will provide a comprehensive overview of the most important issues that were identified in the shareholder proposal,” the company said. “Microsoft will not tolerate discrimination, harassment or harassment.”
